Last updated: June 2026
HeightComparative.com respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 (“DMCA”), we will respond expeditiously to valid notices of copyright infringement.
Our Content Policy
HeightComparative publishes original written content, a browser-based comparison tool, and height data derived from publicly available sources. We reference celebrity names and heights for informational purposes under fair use doctrine.
We do not intentionally reproduce or host copyrighted images, text, or media without permission. Where third-party content appears on the Site (e.g. height source links), it is attributed and linked to the original source.

Our Response Process
Upon receiving a valid and complete DMCA notice, HeightComparative will:
- Acknowledge receipt of the notice within 5 business days
- Review the claim and determine whether the content qualifies for removal
- Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content if the claim is valid
- Notify the party who submitted the content (if applicable) of the removal
We aim to process all valid DMCA notices within 10 business days of receipt.
Counter-Notice
If you believe that content was removed as a result of a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice to hello@heightcomparative.com. A valid counter-notice must include:
- Your full name and contact information
- Identification of the material that was removed and where it appeared before removal
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you believe the removal was a mistake or misidentification

- Your electronic or physical signature
Repeat Infringers
HeightComparative will, in appropriate circumstances, disable and/or terminate the accounts or access of users who repeatedly infringe or are believed to be repeatedly infringing the rights of copyright holders. Because HeightComparative does not require user accounts, this policy applies to IP-level access restrictions where applicable.
Misuse of DMCA Process
Please note that under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material or activity is infringing may be subject to liability for damages. Do not submit a DMCA notice if you are not certain that the content infringes your copyright.
