About HeightComparative

Our Mission

We believe height comparison should be visual, not just a number. When someone asks “how much taller is LeBron James than Kevin Hart?” — a number alone (43 cm) does not really answer the question. Seeing it drawn to scale does. That is the problem HeightComparative solves.

Our tool is entirely free to use, requires no account, and runs entirely in your browser. No data is uploaded, no personal information is collected, and no login is ever needed.

What Can You Compare?

HeightComparative supports four types of comparisons on the same canvas:

• People — Add any person by entering a name and height in ft/in or cm
• Celebrities — Search our database of 100+ verified celebrity heights
• Objects & entities — Buildings, animals, vehicles, and fictional characters
• Custom images — Upload your own photo and set a real-world height for accurate scaling

Once figures are on the canvas, you can adjust zoom, reorder, undo/redo changes, and export the comparison as a PNG image to save or share on social media.

How We Source Celebrity Heights

All celebrity heights on HeightComparative are sourced from verified public records — official sports profiles, medical records disclosed in public documents, verified interviews, or Wikipedia entries that cite reliable secondary sources. We do not publish guesses or user-submitted heights.

Every celebrity entry includes a source name, a link to the original source where available, and a “last verified” date so you always know how fresh the data is. If you spot an error or an outdated measurement, please contact us and we will review and update it within 7 days.

Technology

HeightComparative is built with Next.js 15 (App Router), Konva.js for the canvas rendering, Tailwind CSS for styling, and Zustand for client-side state. The site is statically generated at build time — meaning celebrity pages, compare pages, and the blog load instantly with no server round-trip.

The comparison tool itself is fully client-side. No comparison data, uploaded images, or personal information ever leaves your device.

Advertising & Revenue

HeightComparative is a free service supported by display advertising. We may show ads provided by Google AdSense or similar advertising networks. These ads help us cover server, development, and data-verification costs so the tool can remain free for everyone.

We do not endorse the products or services shown in advertisements. Ad content is determined by the advertising network based on your browsing context. You can manage your ad preferences through your browser settings or Google's Ad Settings.

All heights listed on this site are approximate and intended for general reference and entertainment purposes. Celebrity heights may vary slightly depending on the source, measurement method, age, or posture at the time of measurement. We make every reasonable effort to ensure accuracy, but we cannot guarantee that every measurement is perfectly precise.
